Tradie logo templates
Our tradie logo templates are drawn for electricians, plumbers, carpenters and the other trades, and every one below is set with the name you type. There are 5 to choose from at $49 each, edited in your browser and downloaded as vector files the moment you pay.

Where a tradie's logo gets used
A tradie's logo spends most of its life on a ute door, the back of a work shirt and the top of a quote. On the ute it is read from across an intersection. On the shirt it is read over a shoulder in someone's hallway. On the quote it is printed small, often in black from an office printer.
The trade logos here are set in heavy letterforms that keep their shape when cut from vinyl, with marks that have no fine detail to fill in when they are printed small or stitched.
Plumbers and electricians
Both trades are licensed, so the card and the quote carry a licence number as well as a phone number. Our trade business card has a field for the licence under the number, and the logo sits above both.
A lightning bolt tells people you are an electrician before they read the name, which is why Bolt carries one. For a plumber, the wordmarks carry no symbol tied to one job, which leaves room to add gas fitting or roofing later. If you want a symbol, the symbol library has a drop and a spanner, and any logo that takes a symbol will take either.
From the logo to the ute
Every logo downloads as an SVG, the file a signwriter asks for, and a transparent PNG. The same download carries merch files sized for a tee, a cap and a hi-vis back. When the ute is next, our vehicle graphics template takes the name and colours onto a dual cab ute, a van, a truck and a trailer, with the letter height worked out from how far away each panel is read.
Questions
- What file does a signwriter need for a tradie logo?
- A vector file. Every logo here downloads as an SVG, which scales to a ute door or a site sign without going soft.
- Should the licence number go in the logo?
- It reads better on the card, the quote and the vehicle, where it is set at a size you can read. Inside a logo it would be too small at most sizes. The trade business card has a field for it.
