Where a gym's logo gets used
A gym's logo is worn more than it is read. It goes on the trainers' tees, on members' singlets and drink bottles, on the wall behind the squat racks and in the small square beside every class booking.
That square is where most logos fail. A long name set across a wide lockup turns into a smudge at the size of an app icon, so every logo here comes with a square monogram version built for it.
Heavy or light
The fitness set covers heavy block capitals, a condensed italic that leans forward, a tally mark and an arc. A strength gym tends to suit the block capitals. A pilates or yoga studio is closer to the arc, which sets the name lighter under a curve. A personal trainer working under their own name can use any of them with a first and last name typed in.
Tees and the wall
Every logo download carries merch files: the logo sized for a tee front, a tee back and a left chest, as SVG and transparent PNG at 300dpi, with a mockup of each. The SVG scales up for a wall decal, which a sign maker cuts from the same file.
Questions
- What size should a gym logo be on a tee?
- The merch files are sized from a garment printer's published positions: a front or back print up to 280mm wide, and a left chest of about 90mm. The README in the download names the printer and the page.
- Can a personal trainer use their own name?
- Yes. Type your name in the field above and every logo is set with it.
